The Dallas Police Department is asking for the public’s help in the homicide investigation in the 11400 block of Garland Road.

On November 7, 2023, at about 12:00 PM, Dallas Police responded to a disturbance call in the 11400 block of Garland Road. The victim, 42-year-old Jose Vasquez, was taken to a local hospital and died from his injuries on November 10, 2023.

The man pictured below was seen leaving the scene. Detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify the man. This remains an ongoing investigation that will be documented under case number 198075-2023.

On November 7, 2023, at approximately 1:30 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a call for service in the 11400 block of Garland Road. The preliminary investigation determined when officers arrived, they found the victim, 42 year old Jose Vasquez, injured and unconscious. The victim was transported to a local hospital. An Assaults Detective responded and began an investigation for an aggravated assault.

On November 10, 2023, the victim died from his injuries, and the case was reassigned to the Homicide Unit.

There is no suspect information at this time.

This remains an ongoing investigation that will be documented under case number 198075-2023.
