Homicide 2400 Bahama Drive

On September, 11, 2021, at approximately 3:10 a.m., Dallas officers responded to a shooting call at 2400 Bahama Drive at the Holiday Hills II Apartments. Upon arrival, officers discovered three people shot in the parking lot. One Latin male victim was transported to an area hospital in serious condition. One victim, who has been identified as 22-year-old Nancy Pahola Gomez Agustin was pronounced deceased at the scene. Through the course of the investigation, it was determined that Rolando Benitez, a 27-year-old Latin male, was responsible for shooting both victims. The Latin male victim exchanged gunfire with Suspect Benitez. Suspect Benitez was shot and pronounced deceased at the scene. The motive and circumstances surrounding the murder are still under investigation. This offense is documented on case number 164615-2021.  

 

Suspect Sought in Shooting on Military Parkway

On July 31, 2021, at approximately 2:00 a.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting at the ChaChaCha Bar and Grill located at 4916 Military Parkway.  The victim, a 34-year-old Latin male, was shot by an unidentified Latin male suspect who left the location in a Chrysler 300 with chrome wheels.  The victim was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.  The suspect was also seen driving a dark colored Chevy Silverado before the shooting.  Anyone with information regarding this offense is encouraged to contact Detective Cody Clark, #10506 at 469-849-3761 or cody.clark@dallascityhall.com

Shooting on Spring Avenue

Updated June 4, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.:

Yesterday, at approximately 9:20 p.m., a disturbance broke out between unknown males attending a football game in the 4600 block of Spring Avenue.  According to witnesses, a Black male walked up to the field then got on a moped (silver with black lettering) and drove to the middle of the field where he opened fired on the crowd. This suspect is described as a Black male in his 20’s, 5’08″-5’10″ tall, thin build, short hair (tapered hair cut), wearing black Nike shorts, black shoes, and no shirt. 

A witness stated that multiple people began shooting towards that shooter on the moped.  A total of five individuals were shot.  Two females are listed in critical condition, one female is listed in stable condition, and two males are listed in stable conditions.  There are no named suspects at this time.  This incident will be documented on case number 119669-2018.

Out of respect for the privacy for the victims we will not be releasing their names at this time. Detectives still need to make contact with some of the victims. Aggravated Assault on Chaucer Place

On April 28, 2018, at approximately 8:00 PM, the unknown suspect seen picture below fired multiple shots at the complainants at 7150 Chaucer Place.  No one was shot; however, he did expose others to that gunfire.  The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 20 to 25 years old, 5’10” 150 pounds.  He was seen wearing a black tank top and green/brown camo shorts.  This incident is documented on case number 089631-2018.

Motor Vehicle Assault

On March 30, 2018 at approximately 7:20 PM, the victim and her boyfriend were involved in a vehicle accident at 8300 Clark Road in Dallas with an unknown suspect. The victim exited her vehicle to exchange identifying information with the suspect, but the suspect tried to flee the accident. The victim was in the path of the fleeing vehicle and became trapped on the hood as it drove off. The victim was carried approximately one mile at high speeds before she fell from the vehicle near the intersection of Clark Road and Spur 408. The victim suffered serious bodily injury as a result of the fall.

The suspect is described as a Black female approximately 18-25 years old and was driving a white sports-utility-vehicle, possible a Mazda or Nissan.

Aggravated Assault at the Best Value Inn

On March 18, 2018, at approximately 8:30 a.m., the victim was shot multiple times at the America’s Best Value Inn at 3243 Merrifield Avenue (near Dolphin Road), Dallas, TX. The above individual was last seen with the victim and is described as a Black male,between the ages of  25-30 years-old, 6’ tall, thin build, and was last seen wearing a black hoodie with “BBB Big Baller Brand” written on the front. He left the scene in a newer model black Jeep Wrangler with a soft-top.

Shooting at 1300 Morrell Avenue

On March 2, 2018, at approximately 1:32 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 1300 block of Morrell Avenue. The victim, Anthony Armstrong, a 29-year-old Black male, had been shot and was transported to an area hospital where he died from his injuries.  A 23-year-old Black male and a 39-year-old Black female were also shot and transported to area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries. This will be a grand jury referral on case number 044588-2018. Help Us Locate These Aggravated Assault Suspects

The Dallas Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect in this case.

On Monday, January 15, 2018 at approximately 5:00pm, in the 4000 block of Shelley Blvd, Dallas, TX 75211, near Dryden Drive, two unknown suspects fired an assault rifle at the victims, striking one of the victims twice. The suspect’s vehicle is a navy blue Nissan Versa.

Aggravated Assault Suspect At Large

The Dallas Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect in this case. 

On Sunday, December 31, 2017 at approximately 8:00 a.m., at 1004 West Camp Wisdom Rd, Dallas, TX., at the intersection of Camp Wisdom Rd and Polk St, an unknown suspect shot the the victim, striking him in the abdomen. The suspect is described as a Black male, between the ages of 25-35 years old, standing between 5’07 -5’10” weighing at about 220 lbs. The suspect was wearing a black jacket, black jeans with red pockets, red/black shoes with a black/brown fur hat.

Wanted: Aggravated Assault Suspects

 

On Thursday, December 21, 2017 at approximately 4:40 a.m., two unknown suspects entered the gas station in the 10000 block of Harry Hines. The Black male suspect argued with the Latin male victim at the gas pumps. The Black male suspect then shot three victims, a Latin male, a Latin female and a 9-year-old child. Both suspects were last seen leaving in a gold Toyota sedan.

Suspect 1 is a Black male with black curly hair and was last seen wearing a black jacket with blue jeans. 

Suspect 2 is a Latin male with short brown hair, a brown beard, and was last seen wearing a dark colored jacket with a white shirt and dark blue jeans.
