The Dallas Police Department Explosive Ordinance Unit recently upgraded it’s equipment with the purchase of a new vehicle, new robots, new bomb suits, and new tools. With the increase in global terror attacks, the Dallas Police Explosive Ordinance Unit wanted to be prepared with the latest technology and equipment, so they can respond to multiple incidents simultaneously. The Explosive Ordinance Unit is a partnership between Dallas Police and Dallas Fire Rescue. The unit responds to calls about suspicious devices all over the North Texas region. The addition of this new equipment will aide in the emergency preparedness of the City of Dallas.
