Murder Investigation – 11515 Leisure Dr

On June 20, 2018, at approximately 9:00 a.m., Dallas officers responded to a shooting call at 11515 Leisure Drive where the caller dialed 911 and stated she just shot her boyfriend.  Officers located the boyfriend, Wilton Tate, a 29 year-old Black male inside an apartment suffering from a gunshot wound.  He was transported to an area hospital where he died from his injuries.  Officers located the caller, Oshanique Banister, a 25 year-old Black female and took her into custody.  She was transported to Dallas Police Headquarters where she was read her Miranda rights.  She voluntarily waived those rights and agreed to speak with detectives.  After interviewing Banister, speaking with witnesses and reviewing the available evidence, she was released from custody.  The case will be referred to a Dallas County Grand Jury.

On May 28, 2018, at approximately 5:30AM, Dallas Police Responded to a call regarding an unconscious black female, approximately 25-30 years of age, in the parking lot of a business at 11129 Zodiac Lane. Upon arrival, police determined that the victim had died from homicidal violence. Dallas Fire and Rescue responded and pronounced the victim deceased.

ARRESTS MADE: Suspect Sought in Homicide on Humphrey Drive

As a result of the investigation, it was determined that Cedric Spikes, an 18-year-old Black male, and a 15-year-old Black male juvenile were responsible for the death of Davieuntay Green.  With the assistance of the US Marshals North Texas Fugitive Task Force and the Dallas Police Gang Unit, Spikes was taken into custody on June 11, 2018 and the juvenile suspect turned himself into police on June 17, 2018.  Both have been charged with murder.

On June 9, 2018, at approximately 4:05 p.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting call at 3700 Humphrey Drive.  The victim, Davieuntay Green, a black male 18-years-old, was found lying in the street suffering from a gunshot wound.  He was transported to an area hospital where he died from his injuries.

Arrests Made: Double Homicide at Pueblo Park

Updated June 16, 2018 at 7:45 a.m.:

On June 15, 2018, at approximately 3:40 p.m., suspect Moises Martinez was arrested for his capital murder warrant.  He was transported to Dallas Police Headquarters to be interviewed by detectives.  After being read his Miranda warning, Martinez waived those rights by agreeing to speak with detectives.  During the course of the interview, he admitted his role in the capital murder offense and named an accomplice.  Martinez was placed in jail.  Detectives were also able to establish enough probable cause to secure a capital murder warrant for his accomplice Andres Frausto, a 26-year-old Latin male.   Frausto, who was already in the Dallas County Jail on unrelated charges, will also be charged with capital murder.  His bond amount has been set at $500,000.00

The names of the two individuals found deceased in the trunk of a late model Cadillac has been identified as Robert Diaz III, 28yrs old and Jacob Collard 20 yrs old.  Next of kin has been notified.  This is being investigated on case #103216-2018.

On May 15, 2018, at approximately 11:47 a.m., City Park employees were working at the Pueblo Park located in the 500 block of Pueblo Street when they discovered a late model black Cadillac ATS that exhibited evidence that led them to believe that a crime may have occurred. Dallas Fire Rescue arrived on scene and conducted a welfare check of the vehicle and located two deceased individuals inside the trunk. Homicide Detectives were notified and is currently working this incident as a Double Murder.  This incident remains under investigation and is reported on case number 103216-2018.

Homicide Investigation: 8201 Brookriver Drive

On June 4, 2018, at approximately 11:20 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call at 8201 Brookriver Drive, the InTown Suites. Upon arrival, they found the victim, Daedrian Myers, a 22-year-old Black male, in the parking lot with a gunshot wound. Dallas Fire and Rescue responded and pronounced the victim deceased. Witnesses reported that a white Chrysler 300 with a temporary tag fled the scene immediately after the shooting, and is believed to be involved in the offense.

On May 24, 2018, at approximately 4:03 p.m., Dallas police responded to a call at 8001 Rothington Rd. Upon officers arrival they discovered the victim, Marlow Marshall, a 24 year-old Black male deceased from a gunshot wound.

Homicide with an Arrest on W. Davis Street

On May 18, 2018, at approximately 2:15 a.m., video surveillance captured a disturbance between the victim, a white male 32-years-old and an unidentified Latin male driving a dark colored Chevrolet Tahoe at 3230 W. Davis Street.  The unidentified Latin male shot the victim and fled in the suspect vehicle.  The victim, whose name is being withheld pending next of kin notification, was transported to an area hospital where he died from his injuries. 

At approximately 4:20 p.m., detectives observed the suspect, Miguel Camacho-Pineda, a Latin male 40-years-old, driving the suspect vehicle in close proximity to the offense.  The vehicle was stopped and the suspect was detained.  The suspect voluntarily agreed to be transported to Dallas Police Headquarters where he was interviewed by detectives.  Camacho-Pineda was read his Miranda Rights and voluntarily waived those rights by agreeing to speak with detectives.   During the course of the interview, he admitted his role in the offense and confessed to shooting the victim.  He has been arrested and placed in Lew Sterrett Jail for murder.  His bond is set at $250,000.00.

On April 25, 2018, at approximately 9:27 p.m., Dallas Police responded to 4999 S. Buckner Boulevard regarding a shooting.  An unidentified male was found in the parking lot of the Townview Apartments suffering from a gunshot wound.  He was transported to an area hospital where he died from his injuries.  Anyone with information regarding this offense is encouraged to contact Detective Montenegro at 214-671-3624 or e.montenegro@dallascityhall.com  This offense is documented on case number 87431-2018.

Homicide on Rothington Road

Update: April 18, 2018

As a result of the investigation, Ronny Nikile Robinson, a black male 19-years-old was identified as the suspect who killed Ophfesious Fields Jr. and stole his backpack at 8000 Rothington Road.  On April 18, 2018, with the help of the Dallas Fugitive Unit, Robinson was arrested and transported to the Dallas Police Homicide Unit to be interviewed.  Robinson was read his Miranda rights and invoked his right to remain silent by requesting an attorney.  Robinson was placed in jail for capital murder with a $500,000.00 bond.
