Homicide on Denmark Street

On June 23, 2017, at approximately 11:48 p.m., Dallas Police officers responded to a call in the 2300 block of Denmark Street. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, Jay Nichols,  a 28-year-old White male suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries. Homicide on Gonzales Drive

Homicide on Willoughby – Suspect Gay Sought

On June 3, 2017, at approximately 12:01 a.m., Dallas police responded to an injured person call at Charlton Methodist Hospital at 3500 W. Wheatland Road. Upon arrival, officers learned that the victim, Nicholas Greene, 23 year-old Black male, had been involved in a disturbance and shot at 8502 Willoughby Boulevard.  Victim Greene was transported to the hospital by a witness where he later died from his injuries. Detectives learned that Keyone Gay, 37 year old Black male, was responsible for the shooting of victim Greene. An arrest warrant has been issued for Keyone Gay.  The murder offense was made on case number 124855-2017.

On June 3, 2017, at approximately 4:30 a.m., Dallas Police responded to a call for police at 1600 N. Henderson Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered a White male lying in the street deceased from a gunshot wound. The identity of the victim is being withheld pending Next of Kin Notification. Homicide Arrest Made – Smalley

On May 10, 2017, Dallas homicide detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Jeryll Smalley B/M/39 for the murder of victim Christopher Carraway, B /M/36.  The murder occurred at 9601 Plano Road on May 5, 2017. 

Smalley was arrested in Sulpher Springs, Texas.  On June 2, 2017, Smalley was interviewed by homicide detectives and he admitted to the offense.  Smalley was transported to Lew Sterrett Jail with a bond of $250,000.00.  This murder was documented on case number 100940-2017.

On May 5, 2017, at approximately 11:15 p.m., Dallas Police responded to 9601 Plano Road regarding an unconscious  Black male.   Upon arrival, they found 36 year old Carraway, Christopher, suffering from multiple injuries.  He was transported to an area hospital where he died from his injuries.

Murder on Ruder Street

Additional Information: June 1, 2017

On May 28, 2017, the victim, Israel Tovar, was shot and killed while at the Whip In Gas Station located at 2910 Ruder Street. The person of interest may be driving the pictured vehicle which is described as a 2002 Honda Accord 2 door black in color with a silver hood and trunk and also has a moon roof, bearing TX license plate HCC-2341.

One Year Ago: Murder of Clarence Davis Remains Unsolved

One year ago, on May 26, 2016, at approximately 12:01 a.m., Dallas Police responded to the shooting death of victim Clarence Davis, a 57-year-old Black male, at 306 Palm Oaks Drive.  This case remains unsolved.  The Dallas Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in gathering information related to this case. Detectives Need Information in Capital Murder Investigation

Victim: Narobia Davis B/M/24

Arrest Made in Fatal Shooting – 9315 East R. L. Thornton Freeway

On May 21, 2017, at approximately 3:50 AM, officers responded to a shooting call at the Tiger Cabaret Club located at 9125 E. R.L. Thornton Freeway.  Upon arrival, officers observed the victim, Natalie Tavares,  Latin female 18, shot and lying next to a vehicle.  The victim was transported to Baylor Hospital by Dallas Fire Rescue where she was pronounced deceased.  A second Latin female was also shot and transported with a non-life threatening injury.  Homicide and Crime Scene responded to the scene.  Witnesses to the offense stated that the suspect, Aldo Saucedo, Latin male 19, began fighting with an Latin male inside the club.  The suspect and the Latin male exited the club.  The suspect went to his vehicle and drove to the front of the club. The Latin male confronted the suspect at his vehicle and the suspect retrieved a handgun from his vehicle and shot towards the Latin male. However, the rounds shot by the suspect struck the victim causing her death. The suspect is the boyfriend of the victim; however, the victim was not the intended target.  Therefore, this is not a family violence incident. The suspect, Aldo Saucedo, was arrested at the scene.  A  Murder and an Aggravated Assault offense were documented on case number 113929-2017. Please see the affidavit below.

Suspect Wanted in Homicide and Aggravated Robberies

The Dallas Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating the wanted suspect and the suspect vehicle in the below video.

On 10-24-2016 at approximately 9:35pm complainant Adan Zavala was shot and killed at 9747 Forest Ln in the apartment breezeway at the Courtyard Village apartments. A silver 2007-08 Toyota possibly a Yaris was seen driving through the complex occupied by 2 B/M’s.

On 11-15-2016 at approximately 2:35pm complainant Puente Fernando was shot at the Madison Apartments located at 12800 Jupiter Road.

On 04/24/2017 at approximately 9:25pm complainant Armando Ruiz-Chavez was robbed at gunpoint at 9747 Forest Lane at the Courtyard Village Apartments. This complainant was also shot during the robbery.

On 05/06/2017 at approximately 1:20pm complainant Jose Ortega was robbed at gunpoint at 13230 Pandora Drive at the Montecito Apartments. Complainant Ortega was also shot during the robbery.

The above listed offenses were all committed by one or two B/M suspects between the ages of 25-30 5’8 to 6’0 tall all described as slender build.

Possible suspect vehicle a 2007-2008 Toyota, possibly a Yaris, silver in color with black tires.
