Homicide on Woodhollow Drive

On Saturday October 9, 2021, at approximately 9:30 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call at 4439 Woodhollow Drive.  Upon arrival, they discovered a victim, Samuel Williams, a 21 year old Black male, who had been shot multiple times inside of his parked vehicle in the parking lot.  Dallas Fire and Rescue responded to the location and pronounced the victim deceased.  The unknown suspect is still at large in this case.  The motive and circumstances surrounding this murder are still under investigation.  This is an ongoing investigation.

Homicide on Lake June Road

On Saturday, October 9, 2021, at approximately 4:18 a.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting call at 8836 Lake June Road.  Upon arrival, officers found Gregorio Romero, a 30-year-old Latin male, who had been shot.  Dallas Fire and Rescue responded and transported the complainant to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.  The suspect is an unknown Latin male approximately 27-years-old, driving a black 2007 Chevy Corvette with 2 chrome rims.  The motive is unknown at this time. This is an ongoing investigation.

Homicide 2400 Bahama Drive

On September, 11, 2021, at approximately 3:10 a.m., Dallas officers responded to a shooting call at 2400 Bahama Drive at the Holiday Hills II Apartments. Upon arrival, officers discovered three people shot in the parking lot. One Latin male victim was transported to an area hospital in serious condition. One victim, who has been identified as 22-year-old Nancy Pahola Gomez Agustin was pronounced deceased at the scene. Through the course of the investigation, it was determined that Rolando Benitez, a 27-year-old Latin male, was responsible for shooting both victims. The Latin male victim exchanged gunfire with Suspect Benitez. Suspect Benitez was shot and pronounced deceased at the scene. The motive and circumstances surrounding the murder are still under investigation. This offense is documented on case number 164615-2021.  

 

Arrest Made in Homicide on Skillman Street

 

Updated on September 22, 2021, at 12:00pm:

Through the course of the investigation, homicide detectives determined that suspect Dekelvin Michael Henderson, a 44-year old Black male, was responsible for the victim’s murder.  On Wednesday, September 22, 2021, suspect Henderson was arrested and taken to Dallas Police Headquarters. He was then transported to Lew Sterrett Jail and charged with murder, a felony of the first degree. His bond will be set by a Dallas County Magistrate.

On Monday, September 6, 2021, at approximately 11:00 a.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting call at the LA Fitness parking lot, located at 7315 Skillman Street. Upon arrival, officers observed the victim, Antonio Demond Royal, a 40-year-old Black male, lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds. Dallas Fire-Rescue transported the victim to a local hospital where he died from his injuries. The motive and circumstances surrounding the murder are still under investigation.

On Saturday, August 21, 2021, at approximately 3:52 a.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting call at 2838 Forth Worth Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found the victim, James Roberson, a 37-year old Black male, shot inside his vehicle.  Dallas Fire-Rescue responded and transported the victim to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased. The motive and circumstances surrounding the murder are still under investigation.

Upon arrival, officers found the victim, Daylan Burns, a 22-year-old Black male, shot multiple times inside his vehicle. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene. Homicide on Griffith Avenue

Update 6/19/2021 at 6:50 PM:

Through their investigation, Homicide Detectives determined that suspect William Adolph Sandoval, a 22-year-old Latin male, was responsible for killing the victim. On Tuesday, June 18, 2021, Suspect Sandoval was arrested and transported to the Homicide Unit where detectives interviewed him. The suspect was then transported to the Dallas County Jail where he was charged with murder. A Dallas County magistrate will set his bond amount.

On Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at approximately 12:30 a.m., Dallas police responded to a call at 522 Griffith Avenue.  Upon arrival, the officers found the victim, Ashley Leann Uresti, age 32, unresponsive at the location with blunt force trauma. The victim was transported to an area hospital by Dallas Fire-Rescue.

On Tuesday, June 15, 2021, the victim died from the injuries, and the case was reassigned to the Homicide Unit. The investigation is ongoing, and the motive is unknown at this time.

Homicide on Forest Lane

On May 9, 2021, at approximately 7:20 a.m., Dallas officers responded to 9669 Forest Lane at the request of Dallas Fire and Rescue. Upon arrival, officers were informed that the victim, Dyrelle Neakole Smith, a 28-year-old Black female, had been shot at the location. Dallas Fire-Rescue pronounced the victim deceased at the scene. During the course of the investigation, detectives identified her ex-boyfriend, Jeremiah Larique Henderson, a 25 year-old Black male, as a suspect. At approximately 12:15 p.m., the suspect was located at 3000 Rochester Street with a self inflicted gunshot wound. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded and pronounced the suspect deceased at the scene.

On Saturday, April 17, 2021, at approximately 7:29 p.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting call at the Juanita Craft Recreation Center Park, located at 3000 Lyons Street. Upon arrival, officers were informed that the victim, Cerriante Dimoren Green, an 18-year old Black male, had been shot at the location. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene. Two other individuals were shot at the location and transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. There are currently no suspects identified or apprehended.  The motive and circumstances surrounding the murder are under investigation.
