One year ago, on October 16, 2016, at approximately 4:46 a.m., the victim was involved in a physical confrontation with a group of males at 4310 Malcolm X Boulevard in the rear parking lot of Club Pinky.  An unknown black male produced a firearm and shot and killed the complainant. On October 16, 2016, at approximately 4:46 a.m., the victim, Demarcus Washington, a 34-year-old Black male, was involved in a physical confrontation with a group of males in the 4300 block of S. Malcolm X Boulevard.  The confrontation occurred in the rear parking lot of Club Pinky. Through the course of the investigation, it was determined that an unknown black male produced a firearm then shot and killed the victim. Detectives Seek Assistance In Homicide Investigation

On September 29, 2017, at about 10:30 p.m., Dallas Police officers responded to a residential burglary in the 2700 block of Lagow Street. When officers arrived they located James Edward Green, a 53-year-old Black male, deceased with an apparent gunshot wound. Witnesses stated that unknown suspects entered the residence and demanded property from the victim.  The unknown suspects then shot Mr. Green and a witness before fleeing the location in a white vehicle.

One Year Later: Information Needed Regarding Homicide On Munger Avenue

One year ago, on September 25, 2016, Dallas Police responded to a shooting call at 3335 Munger Avenue.  The victim, Adrian Shakur Cook, a 19-year-old Black male, was found deceased at the location from a gunshot wound.  A second victim was also shot and survived his injuries.

On September 25, 2016, at approximately 4:28 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting at 3335 Munger Avenue. Officers discovered the victim Adrian Cook, a Black male 19-years-old, deceased from multiple gunshot wounds. A second victim, a Black male 34-years-old, was also shot and transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Update: September 23, 2017 @ 1:00 PM:

On September 15, 2017, Jayden Blanton, a Black male 17-years-old, was arrested for the death of Jorge Torres. Blanton was transported to Dallas Police Headquarters to be interviewed. He was read his Miranda rights and agreed to wave those rights by speaking with detectives. During the interview, Blanton admitted his role in this crime. He was placed in jail for the capital murder of Torres and other unrelated warrants. His bond amount for the capital murder is $500,000.00.

Update: August 22, 2017 @ 3:30 p.m.:

A suspect has been identified in this Capital Murder.  Jayden Blanton B/M/17 was identified and a Capital Murder warrant was issued today.  Blanton is the suspect seen in the surveillance video below. If anyone has information on his location, please call Detective Chaney 214-671-3650 or 9-1-1.  Suspect Blanton should be considered armed and dangerous.

The victim in this homicide has been identified as Jorge Alberto Torres  L/M/37.

Update: August 21, 2017 @ 4:30 p.m.

The suspect in this homicide were observed through video surveillance video camera approaching the victim on foot, physically pushing him, and then shooting him. There were three suspects that participated in this robbery. They were all seen on video fleeing the scene on foot possibly running to an apartment complex not far from the crime scene.

The suspects remain at large. The suspect depicted in the video is believed to have participated in this heinous crime. The suspect is wearing a tee shirt with a unique design on the front.

On August 20, 2017, at approximately 10:46 p. m., Dallas police responded to a shooting call at 2400 W. Ledbetter Drive. Upon officers arrival they discovered 35- year -old Latin male suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries. The identity of the victim has not been confirmed at this time. This offense is documented on case number 190785-2017.

Capital Murder Suspects Arrested

On March 10, 2017, at approximately 11:39 p.m., Dallas officers responded to the death of Lisa Saenz at 200 Santa Fe Avenue.  The victim was discovered in the Trinity River deceased from multiple gunshot wounds.  During the course of the investigation, it was discovered that Kevin Kidd, a Black male 28-years-old; Emmanuel Kilpatrick, a Black male 31-years-old; and Jermon Simmons, a Black male 35-years-old were responsible for her death.  Kidd, Kilpatrick and Simmons have all been arrested and placed in jail for Capital Murder with a $1,000,000 bond.

 

 

Information Wanted for the Murder of Cedric Robinson

Dallas Police Department is still wanting information for the murder of Cedric Robinson. On September 10, 2016 at approximately 6:44 a.m., the victim, Cedric Robinson, was murdered inside the front door area of 7022 Forest Parkway. Two female suspects were involved and they are believed to be prostitutes. Homicide Detectives are asking for the public’s assistance with any information they may have regarding the murder of Cedric Robinson. This offense is documented on case number 218098-2016. Update August 29, 2017:

One year ago today, on August 29, 2016, Dallas Police officers responded to 3628 #104 Pine Street on a shooting call.  The victim, Jesse James Wooten B/M/35, was at his girlfriend’s apartment asleep in the bedroom with her and his girlfriend’s daughter.  Two masked Black male suspects entered the apartment and demanded money.  One of the suspects shot the victim causing his death.  If anyone has information regarding this offense contact Homicide Detective S. Information Wanted in Homicide

Update August 29,2017:

One year ago, on August 28, 2016, Dallas Police officers responded to 10554 Harry Hines Boulevard, the Keller’s Hamburger parking lot on a shooting call.  The victim, Ruben Torres Espinoza H/M/29, was involved in a verbal argument with a unknown Hispanic male suspect known only as “Leo”.  The victim was shot by the suspect and died at the scene.  The suspect fled in a dark blue Nissan Armada.  If anyone has information regarding this offense contact Homicide Detective D.
