Aggravated Assault on Chaucer Place

On April 28, 2018, at approximately 8:00 PM, the unknown suspect seen picture below fired multiple shots at the complainants at 7150 Chaucer Place.  No one was shot; however, he did expose others to that gunfire.  The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 20 to 25 years old, 5’10” 150 pounds.  He was seen wearing a black tank top and green/brown camo shorts.  This incident is documented on case number 089631-2018.

Wanted Person: Cameron Blakely

Cameron Blakely is currently wanted for the January 28, 2017 Aggravated Robbery of City Auto Insurance on Lake June Road.  A warrant has been issued for his arrest and his bond has been set at $25,000.

DPD and DCSO Catch Suspect On The Run

On June 29th, Southwest Deployment officers along with the assistance of  Denton County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO), were able to capture suspect Lonnie Brown, B/M/20, who had been on the run for various outstanding warrants.  The 20 year old suspect fled the Dallas area and went to Oklahoma when he noticed he was wanted for questioning on an Aggravated Robbery that had occurred on Hampton Road in March of 2016.  

Detectives were contacted by a cooperating citizen and revealed that suspect Brown was back from Oklahoma and was staying  in Lakewood Village, Texas. DPD and DCSO worked together to capture suspect Brown and  transported him to Dallas Police’s Crime Against Persons Division for interview where he placed himself at the Aggravated Robbery offense that occurred in our  Southwest Division.   Suspect Brown was transported to Lew Sterrett Jail.  Suspect Brown was also wanted for an additional Aggravated Robbery (072583-2016), a Burglary of a Motor Vehicle (041998-2016), Burglary of a Habitation (016328-2015), Probation Violation for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle (F15-56967U), and Probation Violation for Possession of Marijuana 4oz-5lbs (F15-54757U).  

Our Crime Against Persons Division will continue the investigation to determine if Suspect Brown will be charged with an additional Aggravated Robbery offense.

Community Awareness: Indecent Exposure Suspect Sought

On the evening of June 21, 2016, at approximately 8:00 p.m., an adult female victim, a juvenile male victim, and a witness were inside their vehicle outside of the Greyhound Bus Station located at 205 S. Lamar Street to pick up a friend.  The bus was late, so they waited at 800 Jackson Street in a parking lot across the street from the bus station.  An unknown Black male approached the vehicle and began tapping on the window of their vehicle. When the occupants did not respond or open the window, the suspect stood outside the car for a while. The adult female moved her vehicle to a different parking spot, but the suspect followed and began to masturbate in her presence. The juvenile victim was also present and may have seen the suspect’s actions.  The suspect fled on foot before Dallas Police officers arrived.

The suspect is described as a Black male, who is approximately 25 to 35 years of age, 5’11” and thin.  He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, dark colored pants and white shoes.  The suspect had a blue jersey thrown over his shoulder.

Detectives Seek Information in Murder on John West Blvd.

On March 10, 2016, at approximately 5:22 P.M., Kedrick McDow B/M/20 shot and killed Marlese Arnett at 2600 John West Road.  Today April 29, 2016, at aproximatey 8:30 A.M. McDow was arrested in the City of Garland Texas by the U.S. Marshal’s North Texas Fugitive Task Force.  McDow was brought to Dallas Homicide for questioning and was booked into jail on $500,000.00 bond for Murder.

Update: April 22, 2016 @ 4:00 p.m. 

As a result of the investigation, on April 22, 2016, Detectives determined that Arrestee Kierra Johnson was involved in the murder of Ms. Arnett.  Arrestee Kierra Johnson was taken to the Dallas Police Headquarters where she gave a voluntary statement admitting that, as the driver of the vehicle involved in the shooting of Ms. Arnett, she chased the victim’s vehicle and her boyfriend, accomplice Kedrick McDow B/M 20 years-old, fired the shots that killed Ms. Arnett.  Arrestee Johnson is currently in the Dallas County Jail charged with Murder and is being held on a $500,000.00 bond.

The Dallas Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating the accomplice, Kedrick McDow, in this case. A warrant for murder has been issued for his arrest.  Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Kedrick McDow is asked to call Dallas police.  Callers who wish to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 214.373.TIPS (8477).

On March 10, 2016, at about  5:20 p.m., Dallas Police officers responded to a shooting call at John West Rd. and La Prada Dr. The victim,  Marlese Arnett B/F 32 was shot while driving near this location. The victim and the suspect(s) may have had some sort of altercation immediately prior to the shooting. Arnett was transported to Baylor Hospital in critical condition and succumbed to her injuries today, March 11, 2016.

The suspect vehicle is described an early 2000’s model burgundy 4-door Jeep. The Dallas Police Department is asking that anyone with information about this murder contact the Homicide Unit at (214) 671-3661. If you wish to remain anonymous you may call Crime Stoppers at (214) 373-TIPS (8477).

As a direct result of the Community Awareness bulletin released to the public on April 7, 2016, the Dallas Police Department received tips from the community that led to the identification of this suspect as Jibril Salami, B/M/31.   The officer who responded and chased Salami on foot also positively identified him as the suspect who had run from him.  Detectives have obtained a warrant for Jibril Salami’s arrest for the charge of Evading Arrest with a bond of $50,000.

On April 5, 2016, between noon and 4:00 p.m., the adult male victim was working at a construction site in the 7200 block of Coach Light Drive when a light skinned black male with short dread locks, weighing approximately 140 pounds approached the site in view of the victim. The suspect stripped completely naked, began to masturbate, and then exposed his anus to the victim. The suspect then fled the location on foot.

The following day on April 6, 2016, the victim called officers to the scene after he observed the same suspect lying on the ground while masturbating. Officers arrived but were unable to apprehend the suspect after a brief foot chase. On this date the suspect was wearing a grey t-shirt, black pants with a white stripe, and was carrying a black and blue shopping bag.  Officers believe he may live in the area of the offense location. The victim advised that he has observed the suspect performing the same lewd acts on several other occasions.

Indecency at Bachman Lake

Community Awareness Bulletin

On March 28, 2016, at approximately 11:30 p.m., a female victim was at Bachman Lake near 2750 Bachman Drive.  The victim was alone and walking to her car when she was approached by an unknown Latin male suspect.  The suspect stood between the victim and her car making it difficult to enter her vehicle.  As the victim attempted to get into her vehicle, the suspect began touching her and she noticed the suspect’s penis was exposed. The victim got away and called 911.  The suspect stayed by the victim’s vehicle for several minutes and continued to approach the victim while she was on the phone with 911 before fleeing in a newer white Nissan Juke as Dallas Police Officers arrived at the park. 

The suspect is described as a Latin male in his late 20’s/early 30’s who speaks Spanish and English with a heavy accent.  He has black hair and brown eyes.  He is approximately 5’10” and 160 lbs.

Detectives Need Help Identifying Robbery Suspect

Update February 25, 2016:

Robbery suspect Matthew Bernard Neal has been arrested in Navarro County.

UPDATE 2/24/16 @ 10:00pm:

On February 11, 2016 at about 12:50 p.m. a B/M suspect robbed the Family Dollar store at 2683 Cedar Crest boulevard at gunpoint.  Based on the investigation thus far detectives believe that this same suspect later robbed the Shell Gas Station at 9512 C.F. Hawn Freeway on February 17, 2016 as well as other locations in surrounding cities.  Today detectives received information as to the identity of the suspect who committed these offenses.  The suspect has been positively identified as Matthew Bernard Neal B/M 5-19-1985.  Neal is currently wanted for Aggravated Robbery.

On February 17, 2016 at about 8:45 p.m., a light skinned and thin build, Black male, 20-25 years old, 5’6” to 5’8”, entered the Shell Gas Station at 9512 C.F. Hawn Freeway and demanded money from the cashier. The suspect stated he had a gun concealed in his waistband and then reached over the counter and took money.  The suspect left in a two tone Toyota Corolla, which had dark primer on one side and on the rear bumper.  Detectives believe the color of the car is either light blue or white.

Detectives also suspect that he may also be responsible for robberies in the North Texas Area.

Burglary Suspect Sought

The Dallas Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the burglary suspect seen in the posted images that were taken from a surveillance video. On January 7, 2016, at approximately 3:00 a.m., the suspect forced his way  into the Lord & A Pharmacy located at 2949 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. The suspect was targeting prescription medications. This offense is documented on case number 005117-2016.
