Keeping Dallas Safe: Northeast Patrol Officers Arrest Multiple Suspects for Residential Burglary

The quick response of Northeast Patrol officers and a vigilant neighbor led to the arrest of multiple suspects in a residential burglary on Tuesday.

On March 15, 2016 at about 2:30 p.m., officers responded to the 1500 block of San Saba Drive for a call from a witness stating that her neighbor’s house was being burglarized by three Latin males. The witness was able to give the officers detailed physical descriptions of the suspects and their get away vehicle. The responding officers were then able to stop the suspect vehicle down the road and recover the victim’s stolen property. 

One adult suspect was arrested for Burglary of a Habitation and transported to Lew Sterrett Jail. The other two juvenile suspects were arrested and transported to the Henry Wade Juvenile Detention Center.

Jewelry Thieves Caught on Camera

On September 8, 2015 at about 3:00 a.m., two suspects pried open the rear door of the Buckner Gold and Silver business. The suspects disconnected the alarm system from the wall and then began to empty shelves of jewelry into a large plastic trash can they found at the location. The suspects are seen on video examining the business’ safe before they exit through the rear door with the stolen jewelry. This offense is documented on case number 208684-2015.

Car Burglars Caught on Video Surveillance


 

On August 22, 2015, at approximately 1:00 P.M., officers responded to a burglary of a motor vehicle in the 1300 block of North Buckner Boulevard. Witnesses said they observed two Black male suspects in an unknown white vehicle. They observed one of the suspects enter the victim’s vehicle and take U.S. currency.  It is believed that the suspects may have observed the victim conducting an earlier banking transaction and followed the victim to the offense location. This offense is documented on case number 195055-2015.

Northeast Officers Arrest Burglar

On March 20, 2014, Northeast Property Crimes detectives notified Northeast Deployment officers of a suspect wanted for a residential burglary in the 240’s sector and suspected of many other property crimes in that area. Deployment officers conducted surveillance and arrested Guillerme Salazar, L/m/05-14-1993. He has been charged with one residential burglary and detectives are currently investigating his involvement in other offenses.
