On Sunday, January 10, 2016, at approximately 9:36 a.m., Dallas police officers received a call about a male lying in a ditch at 3606 Kolloch Drive. The victim, Mr. Charles McBride, Black male 01/09/1950, was found to be deceased from gunshot wounds. The victim’s vehicle, a white 2002 Cadillac CTS with Texas license plate DSW-7269, is missing. Homicide detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding his death and are requesting the public’s help with any information regarding the murder of Mr. McBride.
Approximately 13 hours later, around 10:45 p.m., officers received a report at the intersection of Kirnwood Drive and Hampton Road regarding a male sitting inside his vehicle who appeared to be unresponsive. The victim, Reginald Dwayne Chambers, Black male 01/06/1972, was found inside his vehicle with a gunshot wound to his upper body. Dallas Fire Rescue transported Mr. Chambers to Charlton Methodist Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. Homicide Detectives are likewise requesting the public’s help with any information regarding the murder of Mr. Chambers.
On January 11, 2016 at about 1:00 a.m., Dallas police received a 9-1-1 call regarding a man lying in the street in the 1700 block of Ridgedorf Drive. The caller described hearing a gunshot and then dogs barking. When the caller looked outside he saw the victim. When officers arrived, they found an unidentified Latin male in critical condition suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Dallas Fire Rescue transported him to Baylor hospital, where he later died as a result of his injuries. This investigation is on-going. Detectives are working to identify the victim and suspect in this case.
