The Dallas Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a critical missing person Verenice Mendoza.
Verenice Mendoza was last seen August 29, 2018 at about 11:00 a.m., in the 7300 block of Hollyhill Drive. Verenice is described as a 26-year-old, Latin Female with black hair and brown eyes. She is 5’4” tall and weighs 250 pounds. Ms. Mendoza was wearing an orange t-shirt, dark jeans and white sneakers. Ms. Verenice may be in danger and in need of assistance.
If anyone has any information about the location of Verenice Mendoza, they are asked to call 9-1-1 or the Dallas Police Department Missing Persons Unit at 214-671-4268.
The Antioch Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church has announced a ceremony by the Mother and family of Ms. Sanders to thank the Dallas Police Department and the Dallas Sheriff’s Office along with the Concord Church of Dallas and members of the community who searched diligently and found Ms. Sanders.
Family of Critical Missing Person Lillie Sanders and South Central Patrol officers organized a search this morning of the area that Ms. Sanders was known to frequent. Joining the search were off-duty members of the Dallas Sheriff’s Office, who, upon searching an abandoned shed behind an abandoned house near Owega Avenue and Ramona Avenue, found a slightly dehydrated but alive, Lillie Sanders!
Ms. Sanders appeared to have made some preparation as she was found with a pillow and a change of clothes among other items. She was immediately transported to Parkland Hospital by Dallas Fire Rescue ambulance for examination and treatment.
Members of the Concord Church will assemble a group of volunteers today at 4:00 pm at the church, located at 6808 Pastor Bailey Drive in Dallas, to canvass neighborhoods and distribute flyers in an effort to locate Lillie Sanders, missing since Sunday. The groups will canvass areas where Lillie was known to have lived or frequented. The flyer is below.
On February 23, 2014, at approximately 8:30 am, Lillie Sanders, B/f/01-01-1940, walked away from 1515 Ann Arbor and has not returned.
Sanders is 5’06” and weighs approximately 150 pounds. She has gray hair and brown eyes. She has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and depression and is not currently taking her medication. She was last seen wearing a brown shirt, gray pants, black shoes and carrying a black trash bag of clothing.
