On November 18, 2016, at approximately 1:20 p.m., Dallas Police were dispatched to 5200 Harry Hines Blvd. regarding an injured person.  The victim, Jerry Norman, a White male 58-years-old had been assaulted and transported to an area hospital where he remained until his death on November 22, 2016.  Through the course of the investigation, it was determined that Frank Blaes, a White male 57-years-old, was responsible for Norman’s injuries.  On November 23, 2016, Blaes was arrested for murder and transported to the Dallas Police Homicide Unit to be interviewed.   Blaes was read his Miranda warning which he voluntarily waived by agreeing to speak with detectives.  Blaes confessed to his role in the assault which ultimately lead to Norman’s death.  Blaes was arrested for murder and placed in jail with a $250,000.00 bond.
