Arrest Made in the Homicide of Roy Mason

On November 17, 2019, at approximately 4:45 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call at 2410 Scotland Drive. Upon arrival, officers learned that the suspect, Anthony Lee, a 38-year-old Black male, entered the residence and shot two victims, Roy Mason, a 35-year-old black male, and the victim’s brother, a 34-year-old black male. Both victims were transported to an area hospital, where Roy Mason was pronounced deceased. The suspect fled the location, but later turned himself into the Lancaster Police Department. The suspect declined to speak with detectives at Dallas Police Headquarters and was taken to Lew Sterrett Jail and charged with murder, a felony of the first degree. The surviving victim is in stable condition at a local hospital.
