Dallas Police investigate Homicide in the 100 block of Polk Street.
On December 9, 2023, at about 3:15 a.m., Dallas Police responded to a call for service in the 100 block of Polk Street.
The preliminary investigation determined 60-year-old Ira Lollis was assaulted at the location by unknown individuals. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded and took Lollis to a local hospital in critical condition.
On December 27, 2023, Ira Lollis died at the hospital from his injuries.
The investigation is ongoing and will be documented under case number 218497-2023.
