On January 28, 2024, at about 6:30 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 3200 block of Maryland Avenue.
The preliminary investigation determined 36-year-old David Johnson was shot at the location by an unknown suspect.
The suspects left the location.
Johnson was transported to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries.
This investigation is ongoing and will be documented under case number 015320-2024.
