On February 16, 2024, at approximately 8:55 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 2400 block of Robert B. Cullum Boulevard. 

The preliminary investigation determined when officers arrived, they found two teens had been shot outside an apartment.

A 16-year-old male was found in an apartment breezeway, and a 15-year-old female was located in a nearby apartment.  

Both teens were taken to a local hospital, where the male died. The female was treated and released. 

The victims’ identities are not being released due to their age. 

The preliminary investigation determined this appears to be an isolated incident, and there is no danger to the public. There is no suspect description at this time.
