Emanuel Ramirez DOB 03-20-1996

On February 4, 2016, at approximately 12:45 p.m., the victim was washing her clothes in a laundry room of the El Rancho Apartments at 9905 Bruton Rd.  The suspect entered and immediately attacked her and sexually assaulted her. The victim was able to fight off the suspect causing him injuries.  The suspect then fled the location running past witnesses at the scene and fleeing in a black Lincoln Navigator.

The victim and witnesses at the scene provided descriptive information that enabled Dallas Police detectives to find the registered owner and residence not far from the offense location.  Detectives were able to obtain and execute a search warrant at that location and found Emanuel Gerardo Vasquez Ramirez a 20 year old Latin male inside who had visible injuries which were consistent with the injuries described by the victim.

Ramirez was detained and brought to Dallas Police headquarters and interviewed.  The arrestee Ramirez has been charged with Sexual Assault, a felony of the second degree and transported to the Dallas County Jail where he is being held on a $100,000 bond.
