On April 13, 2024, at approximately 1:10 a.m., Dallas Police on patrol located a man unresponsive on a sidewalk in the 3600 block of Bolivar Drive. Dallas Fire Rescue responded and the man, Sofonias Eduardo Gonzalez Morgan, 27, died at the scene.  The preliminary investigation determined the man had been shot.
