Homicide on Terry Street

On July 25, 2020, at approximately 10:30 a.m., Dallas Police responded to a health and welfare check in the 4900 block of Terry Street. Upon arrival, the victim, Irish Harrison, a 71-year-old Black female, was found inside the residence unresponsive. Dallas Fire and Rescue responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased. The victim’s grandson, Michael Robinson, a 32-year-old Black male, was at the location when police arrived. He was transported to Dallas Police Headquarters, where he was interviewed by a detective with the Homicide Unit. Robinson admitted to killing the victim and was transported to Lew Sterrett Jail and charged with Capital Murder, a capital felony. His bond will be determined by a Dallas County Magistrate.
