Jack in the Box Robbery

On November 24, 2016 at approximated 11:35 a.m. a suspect entered the Jack in the Box restaurant in the 190 block of Continental Avenue.  The suspect demanded money from the employees working in the business at gunpoint. The suspect took money and left the location without harming the employees. 

The suspect is described as a Black male, 30-40 years of age, 5’8″ weighing about 170-180 pounds. The suspect was last seen wearing a grey t-shirt with the letters “MFFL” on the front, blue jeans and a watch on his left arm. The suspect displayed a silver semi-automatic during the commission of this offense.

Suspect Wanted In Jack In The Box Robbery

On October 29, 2016 at approximately 11:30 A.M., the suspect entered the Jack in the Box in the 400 block of W. Illinois Avenue. The suspect pointed a black handgun at employees and demanded money.

The suspect is described as a Latin male in his mid-20s, 5’8” and 180 pounds, wearing a white t-shirt, black pants and black shoes with white soles. The suspect left the business in a green 1999 Ford F150 truck displaying TX license plate AA2-5623. This vehicle was taken in a carjacking robbery and has not been recovered.

Persons of Interest in an Aggravated Robbery Offense

On September 17, 2016, at approximately 6:00 a.m., in the 2600 block of Elm Street the victim was sitting in his vehicle when four young Black males walked up to his vehicle.  Two of the males pulled the victim from his vehicle at knife-point and stole property from him. A witness observed the offense and intervened. Both the victim and the witness were attacked by the two suspects.  It is believed the suspects boarded a Dart train at the Good Latimer station a few minutes after the offense. Suspect Wanted in Family Dollar Robbery

On Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at approximately 1:15 p.m., the pictured suspect entered the Family Dollar store located at 3100 Ft. Worth Avenue.  The suspect approached the clerk at the counter and demanded money at gunpoint.  The suspect fled on foot with the money.

The suspect is described as a black male 20-30 years of age, 6’ 0” in height, weighing 190 lbs, wearing a black V neck T-shirt, blue jeans, and a blue hat.  He was armed with a black semi-auto pistol. This offense is documented on case number 209741-2016.

Family Dollar Robbery Caught on Video

On August 10, 2016, at about 8:18 p.m., a Black male suspect, armed with a handgun, robbed the Family Dollar store located in the 2600 block of Cedar Crest Boulevard. The suspect approached the counter to make a purchase and when the employee opened the register the suspect displayed a  handgun and demanded the money. The suspect fled on foot with the cash. This offense is documented on case number 192563-2016.

The suspect is described as a Black male about 30-45 years old, 5’ 8” in height, weighing 160 pounds. The suspect was wearing a red shirt over a black long sleeve shirt, jeans, black tennis shoes, and a gray ball cap with a blue logo.

On July 28, 2016, at about 1:05 a.m., the 7-11 store at 302 North Marsalis Avenue was robbed by two black male suspects. Suspect one, pictured below, entered the store and made a purchase. When the clerk opened the register to complete the sale, suspect one leaned over the counter and reached in to the cash drawer to steal money. When the clerk attempted to shut the cash drawer suspect one bit her on the forearm and punched her in the face.  Suspect one fled the store with cash and climbed into the passenger side of a white Mitsubishi sports utility vehicle driven by suspect two.

Suspect one is described as a black male, 25-35 years of age, 6’ 1” in height, weighing 250 pounds, wearing a red T-shirt with horizontal tears, black shorts, and red Nike tennis shoes.

The suspect vehicle is described as a white Mitsubishi sports utility vehicle with a sunroof and no front plate.

Aggravated Robberies Near White Rock Lake

Four Aggravated Robbery offenses have occurred at White Rock Lake Park in the past two weeks.

On July 22, 2016, at about 1:05 a.m., three black male suspects robbed a victim at gunpoint as he sat in his car in the 600 block of East Lawther Drive. 

On July 22, 2016, at about 1:30 a.m., two black male suspects robbed 4 victims at gunpoint as they played PokemonGo in the 2900 block of White Rock Road.  

On July 26, 2016, at about 1:00 a.m., three black male suspects robbed two individuals at gunpoint as they walked in the 4800 block of West Lawther Drive.

On August 2, 2016, at about 2:30 a.m., three black male suspects and a black female suspect robbed two individuals at gunpoint as they played Pokemon Go in the 4700 block of West Lawther Drive.  

While two of these robberies involved individuals playing PokemonGo, there is no indication that they were lured to the location through the app.  However, we do believe that they were distracted by the game.

The suspects are described as three black males, 17-20 years of age, weighing 145-160 pounds. During the offenses they were wearing black T-shirts and white T-shirts. The black female suspect was the driver of the suspect vehicle, a white 4-door sedan.

Royneco Harris, black male 18; Cortney Woods, black male 17; and Kristian Rios, Hispanic female 17;  have been arrested for the Aggravated Robbery that occurred at 700 S. Good Latimer on August 2, 2016.

Harris and Woods have also been charges with an Aggravated Robbery that occurred at 4812 Bryan Street on August 2, 2016.

The third Black male suspect involved in these offenses has not been identified.

Royneco Harris and Cortney Woods are currently on parole for the November 22, 2011 Capital Murder of Octavius Lanier.

On August 2, 2016, at about 1:40 a.m. three black male teenage suspects robbed an individual at gunpoint as he entered his apartment at 4805 Junius Street.  Two of the black male suspects pointed handguns at the victim and demanded his property. All three suspects fled the location with the victim’s property.

A short time later three black male teenage suspects robbed two individuals at gunpoint as they walked in the 700 block of South Good Latimer.  Two of the suspects pointed handguns at the couple and demanded their property. One of the victims sprayed two of the  suspects with mace.  All three suspects fled on foot.

Moments later all three suspects and a Hispanic female suspect were captured on video inside the 7-11 store at 4104 Gaston Avenue where two of the suspects cleansed themselves with milk. 

The three black male suspects left the store in a dark-colored sedan driven by the Hispanic female suspect.

Same Suspect Commits Two Robberies

On July 26, 2016, at approximately 5:00 A.M., a black male suspect who is approximately 5’11”, 200 LBS, 40-50 years old, entered Raceway #967 located at 8301 E. R L Thornton Freeway and displayed a full sized silver and black semi-automatic handgun at the employees and demanded money and Newport cigarettes. This offense is documented on case number 179159-2016.

On July 27, 2016, at approximately 12:20 A.M., the same suspect entered the the 7-Eleven located at 5501 S. Buckner Boulevard and pointed the gun at employees and again demanded money and Newport cigarettes. The suspect fired the gun inside of the 7-Eleven. After both Aggravated Robberies, the suspect entered a four door silver SUV type vehicle, possibly an early to mid 2000’s Honda CRV (Unknown Plate). The offense is documented on case number 179922-2016.

Suspects Wanted in Aggravated Robbery Near Lower Greenville

On July 21, 2016, at about 1:15 a.m., three male suspects robbed a female victim at gunpoint as she was walking in the 1800 block of Summit Avenue.  One male suspect approached the victim and initiated a conversation.  As she spoke with the first suspect, two additional male suspects approached and demanded her property at gunpoint. All three suspects fled in a white sport utility vehicle. Shortly after the offense one of the suspects was captured on video using the victim’s credit card at a convenience store. This offense is documented on case number 175019-2016. 

Suspect 1 is described as a Hispanic male, 18-20 years of age, with spiked hair, wearing a white T-shirt.

Suspect 2, captured in the photo below, is described as a Hispanic male, 20-28 years of age, wearing an orange T-shirt.

Suspect 3 is described as a Hispanic male.
